Bird Language

Specializing in free-range kids, OSIN teaches campers mindfulness and respect for the world they live in.  The OSIN DNC Programs are designed to reconnect you and your child with Nature. It offers the opportunity to forge lasting personal relationships with all aspects of the Natural World in a healthy, fun, and regenerative way. You will deepen these relationships through core routines of awareness, tracking and bird language, along with hands on skills and crafts.  They will have fun getting wet, dirty, muddy, cold, and tired as well as enjoy the warm breezes and comfortable coastal climate. All activities will be playful and safe while challenging adults and children and stretching your ‘comfort zone’.

I feel so grateful to have the opportunity to send my son to spend time with Pete OUTSIDE IN NATURE! My son Caetano did not complain once for waking up early during his spring break. He could not wait to go every morning of the week.He has told me in the past that OSIN is his favorite camp of all but it is hard to get too many words out of him until we went for a hike yesterday...

I was amazed to hear all the knowledge and experiences he has gathered from his time at OSIN. He pointed and told me about the soap plant and how it can be used to clean hands by crushing the bulb into rocks, he showed me dear paths, pointed out all the poison oak, talked about plantain plants, led us to play animal sound games, and the best part... 

He told us about the Boom Shaka Laka which is apparently ESSENTIAL to make fire. We had such a good laugh.

 
I looked forward to see him coming home covered in mud. It is an experience I would have not been able to provide him. Thank you PETE!

Cancellation policy: $75.00 non-refundable deposit (refund possible if you find a replacement or I have a replacement on the Wait List)  

Full camp fee (less $75.00 deposit) refunded 14 days before first day of camp.  (Full refund possible when you find a replacement or I have a replacement on the Wait List)
